The Hawks hosted Calvin Christian in another episode of the long-running rivalry, which dates back to the inception of FHE Soccer.

Matt DeVries picked an opportune time to score his first goal of the season just 2:22 into the game.  Jesse Aronoff was credited with the assist.

FHE struck again in the 36th minute following a nice buildup into the attack.  Jesse Aronoff slid a diagonal ball to the wing and onto the foot of Jeremy Ireland, who served a brilliant ball to the head of Kosti Moni for the finish.

The Hawks continued to attack the Squires' goal and Matt DeVries scored his second goal of the match in the 52nd minute.

Alex Harrison rounded out the scoring for the Hawks in the 60th minute as he followed Brendan McCoy's shot to the goalline and finished the rebound.

Goalkeepers Nick Hopkins and Keith Lemley combined for the shutout.

The JV Hawks surrendered a late goal and settled for a 3-3 tie with Calvin Christian.  Carl Herdegen, Robbie Heyboer, and Jake Stevens tallied the Hawk goals.
