The FHE soccer team began its Fall season with a 3-1 win over visiting Greenville.

Both teams played hard and FHE had a number of good scoring chances, but would be held off the board until the Senior forward duo of Brandon Underwood and Carlos Castello began to link up with one another.

FHE scored its first goal of the season in the 28th minute when Castello finished a shot from inside the 6-yard box off a ball laid off from Underwood.

The Hawks would extend their lead in the 37th minute when Underwood received a ball from Castello, made a brilliant turn, and finished a shot from the middle of the penalty area.

Following the halftime break, Greenville struck for its first goal.  Scoring with a neat touch past the keeper following a through ball in the 65th minute, the Yellowjackets would bring the score back to 2-1.

However, just 30 seconds later, Senior Mitchal Rosendall would score his first goal of the season after a combination play inside the 18 with Underwood.

The Hawks would finish with 28 shots at goal (16 on goal), while allowing 2 shots at goal (1 shot on goal). 

FHE will take its team to the road for its next game versus East Kentwood on Tuesday.  The game will be played at Crestwood Middle School, on 44th Street between Breton and Schaffer.  The JV match is at 5pm, Varsity at 7pm.
