Varsity Soccer Defeats Zeeland West on Senior Night

The Hawks celebrated Senior Night with a 3-2 victory over the visting Zeeland West Dux.
Sophomore Miki McGonigal finished beautifully in the 15th minute after a slotted ball from Paige Lackey.
Jenna Winkel finished Jessie Fatum's great individual effort that rebounded off the goalpost in the 34th minute to put the Hawks up 2-0 at halftime.
In the 54th minute, Paige Lackey served the ball up to fellow Senior Morgan Behm, who struck what proved to be the game-winner as the Dux managed to score in the 66th and 80th minutes.
The Hawks move to 7-6-1 on the season and will host GR Catholic Central on Wednesday in the first round of the OK Gold Conference Tournament.
In the JV game, the Hawks mounted a furious comeback to end the game in a 3-3 tie.
