SOUTH CHRISTIAN: 6
The Hawks travelled to South Christian for an OK Gold match but ended up on the short end of a 6-1 result.
South pressured the Hawk defense early and capitalized in the 15th minute after a cross served into the area was headed home by Jessica Owen.
But FHE responded well with a Morgan Behm goal just 6 minutes later.
Following a brilliant save by the South goalkeeper in the 25th minute that kept the score equal, South put on a finishing clinic, scoring 5 goals in the remaining 55 minutes.
In the JV game, the Hawks lost by a score of 3-0. Freshman Taylor Setchfield played well.
