Girls Soccer Loses to East Kentwood

EAST KENTWOOD: 6
FHE played host to perennial powerhouse East Kentwood on Wednesday 4/11.
The Hawks came out tentative in the first half and were outshot 14-2, but goalkeeper Erin Pupel made 6 first-half saves to keep the Hawks in the game.
FHE came out of the halftime break with good energy and a higher level of play, but surrendered two early goals to the Falcons.
When it was all said and done, the final score was 6-0, despite a much better second half played by the Hawks.
FHE falls to 1-3-0 on the young season and will travel to Coopersville on Friday for a 6:15pm game with the Lady Broncos.
The FHE JV team fell to EK by a score of 8-0.
