The Hawks travelled to West Catholic for a non-conference game on May 13.

Following a 45-minute lightning delay, the teams rushed to begin the game between storms.  Consequently, both teams struggled to find a rhythm and flow.

In the 15th minute, Kristi Myers lobbed a beautiful diagonal ball over the West Catholic defense to Caitlyn Przybysz who made a sublime settle and finish.

Eight minutes later, Morgan Behm played a through ball onto the feet of Jessie Fatum who put the Hawks up 2-0 with her 11th goal of the season.

After the halftime break, Jenna Winkel capitalized on a beautiful service to the top of the penalty area by Margo Dixon as the Hawks went up 3-0.

Layne VandenBerg rounded out the scoring in the 52nd minute, striking a laser into the far upper corner after a drop-pass by Przybysz.

With the 4-0 victory, the Hawks move to 5-0-1 all-time versus West Catholic and up the season record to 8-5-0.

The JV Hawks won the matinee game by a score of 1-0.
