Rowing Team State Championship
The FHE Crew team spent the weekend at the Michigan State Rowing Championship Regatta. Twenty five high school teams from Michigan competed on Kent Lake in Kensington Metropark. Eastern had 10 boats make the State Finals and the Women’s Jr 8+ had an exciting 3rd place finish, coming in closely behind FHN - 1st place Gold and FHC -2nd place Silver.
It was a great day of racing to finish the 2023 Spring Season. Congratulations to the bronze medalists: Zoe Burkley, Daisy Vasquez, Anna Alt, Ruth Gleason, Ginny Stiles, Ezra Ver Velde, Ava VanderBoon, Eden Hostetter, Bethany Narducci, and Coach Ben Norrix.
