Game Recap

The Hawks traveled to Coopersville and brought home a 4-1 win on Friday night.

The game was scoreless until a flurry of FHE goals, the first of which came 32:27 into the match. Emma Robinson made a nice play in the middle third of the field, then found the feet of Macy Hollingsworth, who played a through ball behind the Coopersville defense. Rylee Michaels ran onto the ball and calmly finished at the near post.

Just over a minute later, Michaels played the ball to Liv Keller, who found the back of the net.

One minute later, Michaels put FHE up 3-0 with 5:00 remaining in the half, her second goal of the match.

The Hawks came out strongly in the 2nd Half and scored a goal one minute in, when Hollingsworth flighted a corner kick onto the foot of Megan Przybysz, who volleyed the ball into the net.

Coopersville converted a penalty kick with 20 seconds remaining to complete the scoreline.

The Hawks host Wyoming on Monday. It is Senior Night, with a 6:30pm pregame ceremony honoring the program’s 5 seniors and their families. The senior class is comprised of Dasha Everse, Elisabeth Gregory, Bella Jacks, Alena Jones, and Emma Robinson.
